- Go to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, which is https://uppsc.up.nic.in/.
- On the web-portal of the UPPSC, an option that reads ‘Admit Card’ will be visible, hit on it and get redirected to the next page.
- Post tapping on the above mentioned option, you will see an option that reads ‘Admit Card for UPPSC PCS (Prelims) 2024,’ hit on it and go to the login page.
- At the end, you need to enter your Registration Number and Password, and the Submit button.
UPPSC PCS Exam Date 2024
The exam date for the UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 was announced by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, candidates need to know that the exam will be administered in offline mode on October 27, 2024, across the state at various exam centres. Individuals will be able to check the exam timings and venue by downloading the admit card.
UPPSC PCS Exam Pattern 2024
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission will hold the UPPSC Provincial Civil Service (Prelims) 2024 exam in offline mode through the OMR Sheets, candidates need to know that a total number of 100 and 150 MCQs will be asked in Paper I i.e. General Studies I, and Paper II i.e. General Studies II (CSAT).
Individuals who have registered themselves to participate in the UPPSC PCS (Prelims) 2024 need to know that to touch the maximum number of MCQs in each paper, a candidate will get an exam time duration of 02 hours. Each question in Paper I and II will carry the weightage of 1.33 mark and 2 marks, respectively.
There will also be a provision of negative marking, incase of incorrect response 0.44 and 0.66 marks will be deducted. The medium of exam will be both English and Hindi. On the exam day, make sure to carry the physical copy of the hall ticket and a photo identity card because without these documents not a single individual will be allowed inside the exam hall.
