Union Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2024
The Union Bank of India invites online applications from Indian nationals for the Apprentice post under the Apprentices 1961 Act. The candidates can apply from their home states only and appear for the examination to grab this opportunity.
According to the notification, the bank intends to recruit a total of 500 Apprentice trainees through this recruitment drive. Candidates interested in the UBI Apprentice 2024 can apply online for the apprenticeship before 17 September 2024 as the application window is activated from 28 August 2024.
The selection of the candidates will be based on the candidate’s performance in online tests and local language tests. The exam date will be revealed shortly by the bank on the official website. Union Bank of India Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates who wish to apply for the Union Bank of India Apprentice can check their eligibility to apply for the post from below eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
- Applicants’ age for the apprentice application should be between 20 years and 28 years on 1 August 2024.
- The upper age is relaxed for 5 years (SC/ST), 3 years (OBC-NCL), and 10 years (PwBD).
Educational Qualification:
- Applicants must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent course recognized by the central government.
Selection Process for Union Bank of India Apprentice 2024
The candidates applying for the Union Bank of India Apprentice should understand the following selection process:
- Objective Type Online tests: The Bank will conduct online examinations of 100 marks in four subject tests, such as General English, General/Financial Awareness, Computer Knowledge, and Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude.
- Local Language test: Candidates shortlisted through written exam need to present the 10th/12th mark sheet/ certificate of studying a local language or they have to go through a local language test.
After the tests, the authority will prepare a merit list based on candidates’ marks in the above tests based on the result cut-off marks decided by the bank. The successful candidates will need to present the medical fitness certificate and documents for verification for the final selection.
