How to apply for the UGC NET December 2024?

Registration:
- Go to the official website of the UGC NET, which is accessible at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/.
- On the webportal, you will see an option that reads ‘Registration – UGC NET December 2024,’ and tap on it.
- Here, you will be asked to provide required details and hit the Submit button to get the Login credentials.
Application Form:
- Following the successful registration, visit the webportal of the UGC NET, and login with your Registration Number and Date Of Birth.
- After the successful login, you are required to provide educational qualification details, and attach required documents with photographs and signature.
- Lastly you are requested to pay the application fee using the debit card or any other provided payment gateway, and hit the Submit button.
Eligibility Criteria for the UGC NET December 2024
To apply for the UGC NET December 2024, a candidate must meet the certain eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, whose details are available below.
- A candidate must have completed a two-year Master’s Degree in the respective subject from a UGC recognized university with at least 55% score as aggregate, for the reserved category candidates, the minimum requirement is only 50%.
- Individuals who are pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree under the CSBC scheme, and in the final year are also eligible to participate in the UGC NET December 2024.
- There is no upper or lower age limit to get a NET certificate, but for the Junior Research Fellowship, a candidate must not exceed 30 years.
Note: Candidates who are pursuing Master’s Degree in the respective subject are also eligible to participate, but they have to provide their result within two years, otherwise their UGC-NET result will be considered as null and void.

- Other Backward Class – Non-Creamy Layer: ₹600/-
