SSC GD Application Form 2024
SSC invites online applications from eligible candidates for GD Constable in Central Armed Forces & SSF, Rifleman in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. The Commission plans to fill up 39481 posts through this recruitment drive.
Candidates interested in working at CAPF, SSF, NCB, and Assam Rifle can submit their application online on the official website of SSC. The application form is available on the official website from 5 September 2024 to 14 October 2024 (up to 23:00).

SSC GD Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates who wish to apply for the latest SSC recruitment for GD can check their eligibility to apply from the below eligibility criteria:
Citizenship:
- Applicants should be a citizen of India and the vacancies in CAPF and AR all are state-wise, so candidates need to submit their domicile of the concerned state.
Age Limit:
- Applicants’ age should be between 18 and 23 years on 01 January 2025, that is, they should be born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2007 including the dates as well.
- The upper is relaxed for 5 years for SC/ST & Children and victims of 1984 riots or 2002 communal riots in Gujarat, 3 years for OBC, 8 years for OBC 1984 riot or 2002 Communal riots victims and Children, and 10 years for SC/ST candidates of 1984 riots and 2002 communal riots victims and children.
Educational Qualification:
- Applicants must have passed the class 10th examination from a recognized board/ University on or before 01 January 2025.
- Applicants with NCC certificates will be given incentives or bonus marks in the examination, such as, an NCC C Certificate holder will get 5% marks, a B Certificate 3% marks, and an A certificate holder 2% marks in the examination.
SSC GD Selection Process 2024
The candidates willing to apply for the SSC GD 2024 recruitment must check the selection process to understand it better:
- Written examination: The commission will conduct a Computer-based examination to assess the knowledge of the candidates across various States/UTs. The candidates who qualified in the CBT exam would be eligible for further selection stage, PST/PET.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): The candidates who clear the CBT-based examination will be called for the PST/ PET test, the PST examination will include Height, weight, and chest measurements. Only the male candidates candidates would go through the chest measurement standard test. The candidates can check out the notification to learn about the standard for height, weight, and chest required for the posts.
- Medical Examination/Document Verification: The candidates who clear the PST/PET will be called for the medical examination (DME)/document verification. Candidates have to bring the original copies of their documents to prove their application claims. The shortlisted candidates will be medically examined through the CAPF medical board to check their medical and physical fitness.

SSC GD Exam date 2024
The SSC has not revealed the exact exam date for the SSC GD recruitment drive 2024, however, they have revealed a tentative exam date January-February 2025. So, the candidates can expect the CBT exam between January and February 2025.
The Commission will notify the candidates about the exam via the official website, so candidates should regularly visit the website to stay updated.

SSC GD Admit Card & Result 2024
The admit card/hall ticket to enter the examination hall will be released on the official website a week before the examination on the regional offices websites of SSC. You will be able to download the admit card through your SSC GD 2024 application number, DOB, and security pin.
The result of the SSC GD CBT 2024 exam can be out in two or three months, the commission will notify the candidates about the result either through short notice or through their official channels.
