RPSC RAS 2024 Notification
RPSC invites online applications from eligible candidates for the RAS (State and Subordinate Services) posts. The commission plans to fill the 733 state & subordinate services posts through this recruitment drive. Candidates interested in the recruitment can apply online for the RAS notification from 19 September 2024 till midnight of 18 October 2024 on the official website.

RPSC RAS 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying for the RPSC RAS 2024 recruitment drive for various posts can check the eligibility criteria below:
Age Limit:
- The applicant’s age limit should be between 21 years and 40 years on 01 January 2025.
- The upper age is relaxed for 5 years for male candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/EWS/ More Backward class of Rajasthan and 10 years for female candidates, 5 years for women coming from the general category, no upper age limit for window & divorced women, and certain candidates as per the state government guidelines.
Educational Qualification:
- Applicants must hold a degree from a recognized University, college, or educational institution established under Indian laws or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
RPSC RAS 2024 Application Fee
As per the notification, the candidates have to complete their One-time Registration in Rajasthan SSO for application. The candidates will have to deposit the below One-time Registration fees based on their category:

RPSC RAS 2024 Selection Process
The commission will select the applicants for the various posts based on the below selection process stages:
- Preliminary examinations: The applicants will undergo the first stage of selection, Preliminary examinations of 200 marks. The candidates who clear the stage will move to the next stage of RPSC RAS 2024 recruitment, the Mains Examination.
- Mains Examination: The main exam has a total of four descriptive question papers of 200 marks each. The number of applicants for the Mains examination will be fifteen times the number of vacancies.
- Personality and Viva-coe Examination: Candidates who secured the qualifying marks in the Mains examination will be called for the personality and viva voce examination which carries a weightage of 100 marks. The commission will assess the candidate’s personality, knowledge of Rajasthani Culture, character, and other criteria to ensure the capability of the candidates for administrative posts.

- Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary examinations will be graduation-level exams with objective questions of general knowledge & General Science, here’s the complete exam pattern:

RPSC RAS 2024 Admit Card, Exam Date & Result
The Commission will soon release the exam schedule for the Rajasthan State and Subordinate services combined competitive examinations-2024 on the official website. However, as per the past trend, the candidates can expect the Prelims exam in December 2024 or January 2025.
The admit card for the RPSC RAS Prelims exam 2024 will be released a few days before the examinations. The prelim exam result will be released within a month of the examination and the commission will announce the Mains examination schedule shortly after the Prelims exam result declaration.
The RPSC RAS 2024 application window will be activated from 19 September 2024, candidates preparing for civil services and wishing to work at administrative posts should mark the date to submit their online application on time before the deadline, 18 October 2024.
