RPSC AE Exam Date 2024
The RPSC released the Assistant Engineer 2024 recruitment in August 2024 and initiated the application window on 14 August 2024. The last date to apply for the AE Recruitment has been extended to 15 Sep 2024 from the earlier closing date of 12 Sep 2024 due to some technical issues.
The Commission revised the examination calendar on 6 August 2024 and released the exam date Assistant Engineer Combined Competitive Examination 2024. The candidates who have registered or will apply can expect the Prelims exam on 28 September 2025. The commission has released the recruitment for 1014 AE vacancies in different departments Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical.

RPSC AE Admit Card 2024
Candidates applying for the RPSC AE recruitment 2024 must be wondering about the admit card release date. Usually, the Commission releases the admit card for the examination at least a week before the examination on the official website.
The candidates who have registered or will apply for the Assistant Engineer Combined Competitive Examination 2024 can expect the admit card in the second week of September 2025. The candidates can download the Assistant Engineer 2024 recruitment exam admit card with their login credentials. RPSC AE Selection Process 2024
The commission will select the candidates for the Assistant Engineer 2024 recruitment based on the following selection process:
- Preliminary examination: The commission will conduct the prelims examination consisting of compulsory papers and one optional paper of Engg. Concerned discipline selected by candidates to assess the candidate’s knowledge. The Prelims examination will be just the screening test to select candidates for the next stage of selection.
- Mains Examination: The candidates who will clear the Prelims examination of Assistant Engineer Combined Competitive Examination 2024 will be eligible to appear for the Mains Examination.
- Viva Voce and personality test: The candidates who will clear the Mains written examination will be called for the Viva Voce and personality test, which carries 72 marks. The commission will award marks to the candidates based on their personality, character, knowledge of Rajasthani culture, and other aspects of the post.
The final selection of the candidates for the AE posts under the State Engineering Services will be based on the candidate’s scores in the Mains examination and Viva Voce and personality test.
RPSC AE Exam Pattern 2024

- The list of optional papers for the AE Prelims exam 2024 is Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engg./ Agricultural Engg./ Mechanical Engg.
- The candidates have to answer each question and if they are not attempting the question they should darken the fifth circle in the OMR otherwise one-third marks will be deducted.

- Paper I and II are compulsory subjects and candidates have to score 35% marks in each paper to clear the compulsory papers.
- The last two papers of the AE Mains exam are based on the subjects chosen by the candidates from a list of optional subjects. The candidates have to score at least 40% marks in the Mains examination to appear for the Interview/Viva Voce and personality test.
