OTET Passing Marks 

To pass the OTET held by the Board of Secondary Education, it is mandatory to get 60% score, if the candidate belongs to Unreserved category; and those who belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Socially & Economically Backward Class or Physically Challenged category need only 50% score.

Candidates who will be declared successful in the OTET  will be awarded with an e-TET certificate for Paper I and II, basically it is required to be appointed as Primary and Elementary Teacher, respectively, in government schools of state. To sit in the selection or recruitment test, one must hold it.

What if a candidate doesn’t get the minimum score in OTET?

Candidates who won’t be able to secure the minimum requirement in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test Paper I or II will be declared failed i.e. the individual won’t be awarded with a e-TET certificate. There is no limit in appearing in the OTET, so one shouldn’t worry, because the candidate may appear next year.
