Candidates who are going to sit in the KPSC KAS Prelims 2025 are eagerly waiting for the release of admit cards. KPSC KAS Exam Date 2025
The exam date for the KPSC Karnataka Administrative Services (Prelims) 2025 is announced by the Karnataka Public Service Commission, it will take place in August 2025 at various exam centres across the state with an exam time duration 02 hours from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and 02:00 pm to 04:00 pm for Paper I and II, respectively.
Candidates who are going to participate in the KPSC KAS (Prelims) 2025 will have to report at the respective exam centre by 09:00 am and 01:00 pm for Paper I and II, respectively, with a photo identity card and physical copy of hall ticket. KPSC KAS Exam Pattern 2025
The Karnataka Public Service Commission will hold the KPSC Karnataka Administrative Services (Prelims) 2025 in offline mode, using the OMR Sheet. There will be two papers in the exam, and there will be 100 multiple-choice questions in each paper, each paper’s weightage will be of 200 marks.
Each question will carry a weightage of 2 marks; and incase of incorrect response 0.5 mark will be deducted, as there is a provision of negative marking of ¼ mark of question’s weightage. To touch the maximum number of MCQs in each paper, a candidate will have an exam time duration of 02 hours, and the medium of exam will be only English and Kannada.
