The High Court of JK and Ladakh has released a recruitment notification for various posts in the Subordinate Judiciary of J&K UT; the application is open till 01 October 2024. The J&K candidates who wish to work at the Subordinate Judiciary can check the recruitment details here.
The exam date for recruitment against the various positions such as Steno-typists, Junior Assistants, System Assistants, and System Officers will be announced soon by the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh; there is a high speculation that the exam will be administered in November or December 2024.
JK High Court Recruitment 2024
The J&K High Court, Srinagar invites online applications from eligible candidates for various posts, such as Steno-typists, Junior Assistants, System Assistants, and System Officers in the Subordinate Judiciary of J&K UT. The High Court plans to fill up 283 vacancies through this recruitment drive.

Important Note: The government contractual employee and in-service candidates should submit their online application filled copy through the proper channel via their Department Head to the office of Pr. Secretary to, Hon’ble Chief Justice, High Court of J&K and Ladakh within 15 days after the closing date of online application, that is, before 15 Oct 2024.

JK High Court Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates can check their eligibility to apply for the J&K High Court Recruitment 2024 from the below eligibility criteria:
Domicile:
- The applicant should have a domicile certificate of UT of J&K to apply for the recruitment.
Age Limit:
- The applicant’s age should not be less than 18 years and the maximum age is based on the following category:
- 40 years for Open Merit Candidates and Government Service/ contractual employees.
- 48 years for Ex-servicemen
- 43 years for Reserved category candidates
- 42 years for Physically Challenged candidates
Educational Qualification:
- Applicants should fulfill the minimum qualifications required for the post they are applying for, such as graduation and a certified computer application course for Junior Assistant, etc. The applicants are advised to check the notification once to be certain of their educational qualifications before applying online.
JK High Court Application Fee 2024
The candidates have to pay the non-refundable application fee ₹500 with the online application of J&K High Court Recruitment 2024. The application fee applies to all category candidates and it should be paid before the last date of application.
The application fee should be paid only through the online mode on the J&K High Court recruitment portal and the candidates should save the fee payment receipt for future use.
JK High Court Selection Process 2024
The J&K and Ladakh High Court will select the candidates for various posts based on the following selection process:
- Written Test: The Court will conduct a test according to the requirements of various advertised posts to assess the candidate’s knowledge and skill for the posts.
- Skill Test: The candidates may undergo a certain skill test for some post, which will be notified later by the authority.
- Document Verification: Candidates selected through the test will be called for the original document verification before their final selection for the applied post in the Subordinate Judiciary of J&K.
JK High Court Exam Date 2024
The J&K and Ladakh High Court have not revealed anything about the exam, the candidates can expect the notice of the test or detailed selection process after the application period has ended, that is, around October 2024.
The Court will disclose the exam syllabus and other exam details in their to-be-announced official notice for the test, till then, the candidates have to wait for the exact exam date.
JK High Court Admit Card & Result 2024
The High Court is yet to announce the exam date for the latest recruitment drive for various posts, however, the candidates can expect the admit card release at least a week before the examination.
The High Court will declare the result of the JK High Court recruitment exam 2024 at least a month after the exam. The candidates should keep an eye on the official channels to stay updated on the ongoing activities regarding recruitment.
