The JCI invites online applications from Indian nationals for Non-executive posts, such as Junior Inspector, Junior Assistant, and accountant through the short notice published on 04 September 2024. As per the notice, the Corporation plans to fill up 90 vacant Non-executive posts through this recruitment drive.

JCI Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates interested in the JCI Non-executive Cadre posts can check their eligibility to apply from the below eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
- Applicants maximum age to apply for the Non-executive posts is 30 years on 01 September 2024.
- The upper age will be relaxed for the reserved categories of candidates and Persons with a disability based on the rules of the government of India.
Educational Qualification:
- Applicants applying for the Accountant post should have completed B.com with 7 years of experience in maintaining commercial accounts or have completed his/her M.Com with a 5-year experience in managing commercial accounts from reconciliation to final accounts/ experience in maintaining the case and records.
- Applicants applying for Junior Assistant posts must have completed their graduation or equivalent course from a recognized Institute/University and have experience using computers with a minimum English typing speed of 40 wpm.
- Applicants applying for the Junior Inspector must have a 12th pass or equivalent qualification with 3 years of experience in the sale & purchasing of jute, its assorting and grading/ storage/ transportation, etc.

JCI Recruitment Selection Process 2024
The JCI will select the candidates for the Non-Executive cadre based on the following selection criteria:
- CBT-based examination: The authority will conduct a computer-based online examination based on the respective posts’ qualifications and requirements. The exam will be held across India in various cities.
- Medical Examination: Candidates should be medically fit for the JCI posts, hence the successful candidates should undergo a medical examination at their own expense before joining.
- Document Verification: After the examination, the successful candidates will be called for document verification through registered mail.
JCI Non-Executive Posts Exam Pattern 2024
The CBT examination for the JCI Non-Executive posts will have the following exam pattern:
- The CBT exam will be objective in nature, and the questions will be bilingual (Hindi and English only).
- The duration of the CBT exam will be 90 minutes and candidates have to answer 100 questions. The Junior Assistant candidates would need to go through a typing test, which will be qualifying in nature.
- Each question will carry one mark, there is no negative marking for the exam.
JCI Non-Executive Post Admit Card 2024
The JCI will announce the CBT online exam date later and publish the admit card on the official website a week before the examinations. The admit card is an essential document to sit in the JCI recruitment examination and learn about the examination center details, so candidates should download the admit card on time.
