The HRRL invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Engineering professionals for various posts, such as Junior Executive, Assistant Engineer, etc. The Organization is looking for energetic and dedicated professionals in the energy sector.

HRRL Engineering Professional Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates willing to apply for the HRRL’s latest recruitment for various posts can check their eligibility by applying from the below eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
- The maximum age limit for applicants varies depending on the post they are applying for, for instance, the maximum age limit for Junior Executive and Assist. Engineer & Assist. Accounts are 25 years and Engineer posts are 29 years.
Educational Qualification:
- Applicants must have achieved the essential educational qualification required for each post. The candidates should check the notification PDF for the detailed educational qualifications needed for each post.
- The candidates would need experience of 3 years for the Engineer post and o years experience for Junior Executive and Assist Engineer posts.
HRRL Engineering Professional Selection Procedure 2024
The HRRL will select the candidates for various Engineer posts based on the following three-stage selection procedure:
For Jr.Executive posts
- Computer-Based Test: The candidates would have to go through a computer-based test that will assess their general knowledge and technical knowledge.
- Skill test: Candidates who qualify in the CBT exam will be called for a Skill test as per the CBT merit. Candidates who applied for the Jr. Executive Fire & Safety & Mechanical will have to go through a physical efficiency test and the Minimum physical standard established for the concerned posts.
- Interview: Candidates who clear the skill test will be called for a personal interview for the final selection based on their personality.
For Assist. Engineer & accountant and Engineer Post:
- Candidates will have to go through the CBT test followed by group discussion and personal interviews.
After the selection process, the shortlisted candidates would undergo a Pre-employment Medical examination as per the company standards.

HRRL Engineering Professional Exam Pattern 2024
The HRRL will soon release the exam pattern and detailed syllabus of the CBT exam on the official website, the candidates should understand the following exam pattern:
- The CBT will have objective-type questions with no negative marking and it will be divided into two parts.
- The CBT test will have Part General Aptitude and PArt Technical/Professional Knowledge. Each part would have the following subjects:
- General Aptitude: English Language, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation, and Quantitative Aptitude Test & Intellectual.
- Technical/Professional Knowledge: It will contain questions related to the qualifying degree and practical knowledge of the applied post.
- The qualifying marks for the Technical knowledge test are 50% for categories and for the CBT test combined with General Aptitude and Technical knowledge is 60% for UR/EWS candidates and 54% for SC/ST/PwBD/OBC-NCL.
HRRL Engineering Professional Exam Date 2024
The organization has not officially revealed the CBT exam date; the candidates can expect the authority to release the exam date in October after the commencement of the application.
The admit card for the HRRL CBR exam will be released a week before the CBT Exam, so candidates are advised to keep an eye on the communication channels of the HRRL to stay updated on the recruitment activities.
