The HAL invites online applications from eligible candidates for the Air Traffic Controller Trainees posts for the Airport Division, Nasik, and Airport Services Centre Division, Bangalore. The authority plans to fill up 9 vacant posts through this recruitment drive.

HAL ATC Trainee Eligibility Criteria 2024

Age Limit:
- Applicant’s upper age limit should not exceed 28 years of age on the cut-off date of 16 Oct 2024.
- The upper age limit for the ST candidates is 5 years, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD, and 5 years for J&K domicile candidates.
Educational Qualification:
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology or its equivalent (4 years after 10+2) from recognized Institutes/ Universities in the Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Science branch.
- Applicants with Engineering/ Technology should have a minimum percentage of 70% for UR/OBC (NCL) and 60% for SC/PwBD candidates.

HAL ATC Trainee Selection Process 2024
The HAL will select the applicants for the ATC post through the following selection criteria:
- Offline Written Test: The HAL will conduct the offline written test in Bengaluru. The written test will assess the candidate’s general knowledge and aptitude for the post.
- Skill Test: Candidates qualified in the written test will be shortlisted for the Skill test based on a 1:5 ratio to the number of vacancies. The unreserved categories along with reserved category candidates will be grouped together. The skill test will include Cognitive abilities, Interactive/ Social scales, Psychomotor, Sensory abilities, New interactive/ Social scales, and skills scales for a total of 24 marks.
The final selection of the candidates will be based on the candidate’s performance in written tests and skill tests. According to the notifications, the written test held 85% weightage, and the skill test held 15% weightage in the selection.
HAL ATC Trainee Exam Date 2024
HAL will conduct the offline written test in Bengaluru, now the candidates must be wondering about the exam date. According to the notification, the authority will conduct the offline written test on 24 November 2024.
The authority will conduct the skill test & document verification between 16 Dec 2024 to 17 Dec 2024.
