CTET 2024 Application Form
Candidates who want to get awarded with a TET certificate by sitting in CTET are hereby notified that the window to apply for December 2024 Session on 17 September to 16 October. To submit an application form, a candidate is required to provide details, attach documents and make fee payment.

Note: Following the submission of the application form for the CTET December 2024, the correction window will be available for 3 to 5 days for the aspirants who have made errors during the application process.
CTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for CTET December 2024 Session is available below in terms of educational qualification for Paper I and II.
Paper I:
- Intermediate + Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
- Intermediate + Four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education
Paper II:
- Graduation + Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
- Graduation + Two-year Bachelor’s of Education, or
- Intermediate + Four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education, or
- Intermediate + Four-year Bachelor’s of Arts or Science cum Bachelor’s of Education a.k.a. Integrated Teacher Education Programme
There is no upper or lower age limit to participate in the CTET for December 2024 Session.
CTET 2024 Application Fee
To apply for CTET December 2024, a candidate is required to pay the application fee of 1,000, and 1,200 rupees for Paper I or II, and Paper I and II, respectively, of the individual belongs to UR or OBC-NCL, and those who belong to SC, ST or PwBD need to make payment on only 500 rupees for Paper I or II, and 600 rupees for both papers.
CTET 2024 Admit Card
The admit card for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test for December 2024 Session will be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, three days before the scheduled exam date, and then aspirants will be able to download it by visiting the official website at https://ctet.nic.in/ by providing required login credentials.
Note: The City Intimation Slip i.e. Pre-Admit Card for the CTET December 2024 will be available a week before the exam date, by accessing which one will be able to know the venue of the examination.
CTET 2024 Exam Date
The exam date for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test for December 2024 Session has been announced by the CBSE, New Delhi. Candidates need to know that the exam may take place on 15 December 2024 or even earlier. The exam will take place from 09:30 am to 12:00 noon, and 02:30 pm to 05:00 pm for Paper II and I, respectively.
CTET 2024 Exam Pattern
The CTET December 2024 will be administered in offline mode using the OMR Sheet, a total number of 150 MCQs will be asked in each Paper I and II. The question’s weightage will be of 1 mark, without any provision of negative marking. To touch all MCQs, one will have an exam time duration of 02 hours and 30 minutes.
CTET 2024 Answer Key
The answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test for December 2024 Session will be available shortly after the conclusion of the exam. It will be made available with OMR Sheet under the candidates’ login, to access it one will have to provide valid login credentials, it will also enable candidates to evaluate the tentative score of the exam.
CTET 2024 Result
The result for the CTET December 2024 will be announced in January 2025 as a scorecard. Candidates who will have participated in the exam for Paper I or II will be able to check the outcome by providing Registration Number and Password, shortly after the availability of scorecard on the webportal, each exam taker will be able to access it.
Note: To pass the CTET December 2024, a candidate who belongs to UR is required to get a 60% score, and those who belong to OBC-NCL, SC, ST or PwBD need only 55% score, out of 150 marks.
