BPSC TRE 3.0 Selection Process
The selection process for Primary, Middle School, Secondary, and Higher Secondary under the Teacher Recruitment Examination 3.0 consist two stages, which are as follows:
- Written Exam
- Documentation
Candidates who have passed the TRE 3.0 Written Exam will be called for the Document Verification, which may take place within four weeks after the announcement of the result, and then an appointment letter will be distributed among the shortlisted candidates.
BPSC TRE 3.0 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for recruitment of Primary, Middle School, Secondary, and Higher Secondary Teachers are available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.
Educational Qualifications

- Senior Secondary (12th) with 50% marks + two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) or
- Senior Secondary (12th) with 50% marks + two-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) and
- Central Teacher Eligibility Test Paper II
- Middle School Teachers (Classes 6 to 8)
- Senior Secondary (12th) with 50% marks + two-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or
- Senior Secondary (12th) with 50% marks + four-year Bachelor’s of Arts/Science cum Bachelor’s of Education (BA/BSc.BEd) or
- Graduation with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or
- Graduation with 50% marks + two-year Bachelor’s of Educational (B.Ed) and
- Central Teacher Eligibility Test Paper II
- Secondary Teachers (Classes 9 to 10)
- Graduation with 45% marks + two-year Bachelor’s or Education (BEd) or
- Four-year Bachelor’s of Arts/Science cum Bachelor’s of Education (BA/BSc.BEd) and
- Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test Paper I
- Senior Secondary Teachers (Classes 11 to 12)
- Master’s degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks + two-year Bachelor’s of Education (BEd), or four-year Bachelor’s of Arts/Science cum Bachelor’s of Education (BA/BSc.BEd) or
- Master’s degree with 55% marks + three-year Bachelor’s of Education cum Master’s of Educational (BEd.MEd) and
- Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test Paper II
Age Limit:
- Primary and Middle School Teachers: One age shouldn’t be 18 and above 37 years
- Secondary and Senior Secondary Teachers: The individual age must not be below 21 and above 37 years.
- There is upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for OBC and SC/ST, respectively.
Candidates need to know that on the day of the Document Verification, one has to carry required documents for the appointment.
