Army Public School Recruitment 2024-25
AWES has released a short notice for the recruitment of various teaching posts PGT, TGT, and PRT in around 136 Army Public Schools across India. It’s a brilliant opportunity for aspiring teachers who wish to teach at Army Public Schools.
As per the notice, the authority welcome online applications for the PGT, TGT, and PRT teachers from 09 September 2024 till 25 October 2024. The number of vacancies is unknown as the authority has been released the detailed notification yet, the detailed notification is available on the AWES official website on 09 September 2024.

Army Public School Eligibility Criteria 2024-25
Candidates interested in the APS PGT, TGT, and PRT recruitment 2024 can check their eligibility to apply from the below eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
- Applicants who have more than 05 years should be below the age of 57 years, whereas the fresh candidates who have less than 5 years of experience should be below 40 years.
Educational Qualifications:
- Applicants applying for Postgraduate Teacher positions must have completed the two-year Integrated PG courses from regional colleges of Education of NCERT in the respective subjects with minimum marks of 50%, or PG with minimum 50% marks or equivalent B.Ed/ M.Ed course, or they must have attained a master’s degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university.
- Applicants for the Trained Graduate Teacher post must have graduated with 50% minimum marks from a recognized university and a B.Ed with at least 50% marks from a recognized education institute.
- Applicants applying for the Primary Teachers positions must be graduates and completed their B.Ed/ D.El. Ed/ JBT with 50% minimum marks, or candidates with B.Ed and six months of PDPET/ Bridge course from recognized NCERT college of Education.
- Applicants applying for PRT and TGT posts must qualify the CTET/TET as per the NCTE guidelines.
- Applicants would need certain years of experience depending on the teaching post they are applying for, the candidates are advised to check the detailed notification once the authority releases it on the official website.
Army Public School Selection Process 2024-25
The AWES would select the candidates for PGT, PRT, and TGT teaching posts at various APS across India through the following selection procedure for 2024-25:
- Online Screening Test: The AWES will conduct an online screening test for the selection of the candidates for the teaching posts. The online screening test is an online examination that assesses the knowledge and skills of the candidates through objective type MCQ to filter candidates for further stages.
- Interview: The authority will shortlist the candidates for the interview based on the Online screening test scores at the respective branch or as per the notice by the AWES for the further recruitment process.
- Document Verification/ Medical examination: Candidates shortlisted for the APS teaching recruitments should verify their original documents for the document verification and go through a medical examination to prove their physical and Mental fitness.
Army Public School Application Fee 2024-25
Candidates willing to apply for the Army Public School Teachers recruitment 2024-25 would need to pay the following application fee as per the category:

Army Public School Exam Date 2024-25
The AWES would conduct the online screening test as the first stage of the selection process for the PRT, PGT, and TGT papers. As per the short notice, the AWES plans to conduct the OST exam on 23 November and 24 November 2024.
The candidates should prepare well for the examinations based on their concerned subject and qualifying exam. The full syllabus and exam pattern of OST for APS PGT, TGT, and PRT will be soon available through the detailed notification.
Army Public School Admit Card & Result 2024-25
The admit card/ hall ticket for the APS OST exam is highly essential to know about the exam center and enter into the exam hall, the candidates will be able to download the admit card on the official website of AWES from 12 Nov 2024 onwards.
The AWES will publish the result soon after the OST exam on the official website, the candidates will be able to check their result through their AWES application number for PRT, TGT, and PGT 2024. The result can be declared in one or two months for the OST exam 2024.
